The MMV conference is a forum for presentations, exchange of ideas and experiences related to the monitoring and management of visitors in protected and recreational areas. The emphasis will be on policies, problems, practices, innovative solutions, and on the role that good management can play in the sustainable development of urban and rural areas visited for the purpose of recreation and tourism. The conference aims to be of equal interest for managers, researchers and teachers and to foster their interaction and cooperation.
